I was honored to be chosen to participate in the show, “Poster for Parks”. A show that LoveMplsParks.org and People for Parks put together to help the wonderful park system in one of the Twin Cities.
The inspiration to create this poster came after watching a Word of the Day video from James Vukelich. In the video, James explains the meaning of the Ojibwe word, “Gidinawendimin”, which translates in English to “We are all related”. In his video, he says that we are all connected, and I agree. As James Vukelich says, “Every single action that is happening right now is affecting someone who may no longer be here and someone who has not yet arrived.” At the end, we are all related.
